My passion has been fitness, physiology, recovery medicine, and the practice of being well.  My education includes fellowship training in sports medicine at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic and the Southern California Orthopedic Institute in Van Nuys California, and advanced training in recovery medicine with an emphasis in suboxone for opioid use disorder. 
My own experience developing osteochondritis dissecans as a child, enduring multiple knee surgeries, and my own personal recovery story has helped me appreciate the importance of wellness, fitness and maintaining my own personal recovery program.
